Akhini
Akhini ( az, Axını, fa, آخینی) is a neighbourhood of Tabriz, the largest city in Iranian Azerbaijan. Akhini is located in the northwest of Tabriz. It was originally a village near Tabriz with large farms and gardens. Due to the expansion of the city within last decades, all of Akhini's farms and gardens were the victims of the settlements and change of land use and Akhini became a part of Tabriz. Hokmavar
Hokmavar (Azerbaijani: Hökmavar or Hökmabad, Persian: حکم آباد, also Hokmabad) is an old and historic district, located in northwest of Tabriz, Azerbaijan of Iran. Hokmavar is restricted to Sham Qazan and Akhini neighbourhoods in south, Jamshidabad neighbourhood in north, Vijaviya and Bahar neighbourhoods in east and Qaramalek neighbourhoods in west. Hokmavar has been mentioned in historic Persian travel literature. Hokmavar was originally a village near Tabriz, however with the expansion of the city within last decade it has become a neighbourhood of Tabriz. Akhuni District
''Akhuni'' ( Nagamese: ), also known as ''axone'', is a fermented soybean product commonly used in Naga cuisine. ''Axone'' is perhaps the most commonly used fermented product of Nagaland and the North Eastern Region of India. Etymology The word ''Axone'' is from Sümi dialect, and is a combination of two words ''Axo-ne'', ''Axo'' means "aroma" or "smell" and the word ''ne'' or ''nhe'' (similar word "tho") means "deep" or "strong". So it can be literally translated as "deep Smell" or "strong smell". Consumption It is prepared year-round from soybeans by people of all tribes, but most notably the Sümi Nagas of Nagaland. Shanb Ghazan
Shanb-e-Ghazan, Ghazaniyya, or Sham-e-Ghazan (local pronunciation: Sham-Ghazan) is one of the historical neighborhoods of Tabriz, Iran. Shanb-e-Ghazan's historical importance is mostly due to construction of a palace which later turned to the thumb / mausoleum of Ghazan Khan, the Ilkhanid emperor in late 13 and early 14th century. History At the time of the Ilkhanate and Arghun Khan's kingdom in 1290, Shanb-e-Ghazan grew from a village named Shanb or Sham into a large and populous town named Arghuniyye.
