Akademi Fantasia (season 2)
The second season of ''Akademi Fantasia'' premiered on 7 June 2004 and concluded on 14 August 2004 on the Astro Ria television channel. Aznil Nawawi continued as the show's host, while Kudsia Kahar returned as judges. The second season was won by Ahmad Zahid Baharuddin, who defeated Norlinda Nanuwil. This season also featured Kaer Azami, who would subsequently win the 2008 Malaysian Music Awards for Best Song. Unlike previous season which was solely opened for people from Peninsular Malaysia, this season was eligible for contestants from East Malaysia. The final 12 contestants were revealed in ''Tirai Akademi Fantasia'' which was aired at the end of May and early June. Aznil Nawawi
Datuk Aznil bin Nawawi (born 6 November 1962), better known as Aznil Nawawi (sometimes he credited as Aznil Haji Nawawi, Aznil or Pak Nil), is a Malaysian TV host. He won the Best Talk Show Award at the Asian Television Awards 2005 in Singapore. In 2011, he marked 30 years of being involved in the local entertainment scene such as Akademi Fantasia. Background Aznil was born in Kampung Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur. He graduated from University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Economics degree. He started his career in 1990 as a broadcaster and a media reporter with TV3. He first started doing news in broadcasting industry, then moved to hosting in 1992. Sheila on 7 is a pop rock band from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. They have changed their lineup several times since their formation on 6 May 1996. Their first lineup consisted of Akhdiyat Duta Modjo (also known as Duta, vocals), Saktia "Sakti" Ari Seno (guitar), Eross Candra (guitar), Adam Muhammad Subarkah (bass) and Anton Widiastanto (drums). Glenn Fredly Deviano Latuihamallo (30 September 1975 – 8 April 2020) was an Indonesian R&B singer and songwriter as well as producer and actor. Entering the music industry after winning a singing contest in 1995, he released more than 10 albums. He produced new talented artists like female vocalist Yura and male soloist Gilbert Pohan. Melliana Cessy Goeslaw (born 7 January 1974) is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, composer, producer, writer and actress. Alleycats (Malaysian Rock Band)
The Alleycats is a Malaysian band which was formed in 1969, and gained popularity in the late 1970s. It consists of musicians from Penang who were popular in their home state earlier on in their career. History There were earlier line-ups of this band but the original line-up mentioned were the ones that took the Alleycats to great height of achievements musically. The Alleycats was always on top of the musical scene in Malaysia even before it was signed up as a recording band. This line-up secured a performance contract in the Mocambo Club situated in Central, a business sector on Hong Kong island in 1976. Amy Mastura Suhaimi (born 10 May 1971) is a Malaysian singer and actress. Her entertainment career began in the music industry, following her performance at the 1993 Asia bagus talent show in Japan.
