Ajeltokrok
Ajeltokrok (Marshallese language, Marshallese: , ) is one of the most populous islands in the Arno Atoll with a population of 460, in these four villages : * Ine, Arno Atoll, Ine 246 (west part) * Kinajon 10 (lonely houses along the road between Ine and Lukoj) * Lukoj 100 * Japo 104 (east part) Ajeltokrok It is part of the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean. In Ine, Arno Atoll, Ine there is now an artificial bridge made to connect it to Kobjeltak. There is no plan in the future to connect Japo to Autlep Island in the west, because Autlep is almost uninhabited (population of 3). Ajeltokrok has a road with a length of about 26 km, that connects Ine and Japo. The average width of the island is 0.2 km. Arno Atoll
Arno Atoll ( mh, Arņo, ) is a coral atoll of 133 islands in the Pacific Ocean, and forms a legislative district of the Ratak Chain of the Marshall Islands. Its total land area is only . Unlike most other atolls, Arno encloses three different lagoons, a large central one, and two smaller ones in the north and east. Its main lagoon encloses an area of . At a distance of only , it is the closest atoll to the Marshall Islands capital, Majuro Atoll, and can be seen looking east from Majuro on a clear day at low tide. The population of Arno Atoll was 1,794 at the 2011 census. The most populous islets are Ajeltokrok, Kobjeltak, Rearlaplap, Langor and Tutu. The largest village is Ine, Arno. People of Arno are well known for their productivity in making copra (the dried out meat of coconuts, from which coconut oil is extracted). Marshallese Language
The Marshallese language ( mh, Kajin M̧ajeļ, link=no or ), also known as Ebon, is a Micronesian language spoken in the Marshall Islands. Spoken by the ethnic Marshallese people, the language is spoken by nearly the country's entire population of 59,000, making it the principal language of the country. There are also roughly 27,000 Marshallese citizens residing in the United States, nearly all of whom speak Marshallese, as well as in other countries including Nauru. There are two major dialects: Rālik (western) and Ratak (eastern). Classification Marshallese, a Micronesian language, is a member of the Eastern Oceanic subgroup of the Austronesian languages.
