Aizawl West I is one of the 40 assembly constituencies of Mizoram, a north east state of India. This constituency falls under Mizoram Lok Sabha constituency. Lalchungnunga (born 25 December 2000) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Indian Super League club East Bengal. Club career Aizawl Lalchungnunga joined Aizawl on 1 July 2019 from their U18 club. He made his first appearance on 30 January 2021, against NEROCA. He played four matches for the club in 2020–21. The legislative assembly election was held on 28 November 2018 to elect members of the 40 constituencies in Mizoram. Mizo National Front won 26 seats in the election. Zoram Nationalist Party is a political party in Mizoram, India. The party was formerly known as Mizo National Front (Nationalist). It was founded by former MP Lalduhoma. MNF(N) was formed in 1997 through a split in the Mizo National Front. The party won two seats in the state assembly in both the 2003 and 2008 state elections. In 2018, it merged with various regional parties to form Zoram People's Movement (ZPM), but left ZPM in 2020.
