Airport Rail Link
An airport rail link is a service providing passenger rail transport between an airport and a nearby city. Direct links operate straight from the airport terminal to the city, while other links require an intermediate use of a people mover or airport bus, shuttle bus. Advantages for the passenger include faster travel times and easy connections with other public transport. Advantages for the airport include increased patronage and enhanced accessibility for staff. U6 (Berlin U-Bahn)
U6 is a long rapid transit line on the Berlin U-Bahn with 29 stations. It runs in a north-south direction from the Berlin locality of Tegel in the north via Friedrichstraße to Mariendorf, a locality in the southern part of the city. It is one of the five large profile ("Großprofil") lines. During the Cold War, both U6 termini were in the former West Berlin but the line passed under East Berlin for a short section of its route. Tokyo Monorail
The , officially the , is a straddle-beam, Alweg-type monorail line in Tokyo, Japan. It is an airport rail link that connects Haneda Airport, Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) to Tokyo's Ōta, Tokyo, Ōta, Shinagawa, and Minato, Tokyo, Minato Special wards of Tokyo, wards. ''The Encyclopedia of Cleveland History'' is a historical reference work covering Greater Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio community. Airport Station (GCRTA)
Airport station is a station on the RTA Red Line in Cleveland, Ohio. It is the western terminus of the Red Line and is located off the lower level below the middle of the baggage claim level of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. History The station opened on November 15, 1968, when the CTS Rapid Transit was extended four miles from West Park station, making Cleveland the first city in North America to offer direct rapid transit service to its major airport. RTA Rapid Transit (generally known as The Rapid) is a rapid transit and light rail system owned and operated by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA). The system serves Cleveland and surrounding areas in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Cuyahoga County.
