Air Link Pty Ltd is an airline and air charter company based in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. It operates air charter services and recommenced regular passenger services in November 2019. As of 2024, Aviation Logistics Holdings (ALH) who owns Air Link, Air Med and Chart Air, employs nearly 300 staff and owns and operates 70 aircraft across its 7 bases in 4 states. Dubbo Regional Airport is a regional airport in Dubbo, Australia. The airport is located northwest of Dubbo and is operated by the City of Dubbo, Dubbo City Council. It was known as Dubbo City Regional Airport until March 2022. History Aeroplanes began landing in Dubbo in the 1920s, though it wasn't until 1935 that land was purchased for an official airport. During World War II, the airport was reconstructed to be a military airport. The airport runway was redone by the Department of Civil Aviation in 1969, and a terminal was opened in 1970. Beechcraft Baron
The Beechcraft Baron is a light twin-engined piston aircraft designed and produced by Beechcraft. The aircraft was introduced in 1961. A low-wing monoplane developed from the Travel Air, it remains in production. The Cessna CitationJet/CJ/M2 (also known as the Model 525) are a series of light business jets built by Cessna, and are part of the Citation family. Launched in October 1989, the first flight of the Model 525 was on April 29, 1991. Mudgee Airport is a regional airport located north northeast of Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia. The airport is frequently used for technical training. History In 1921 there was activity on the need for an aerodrome at Mudgee, with a proposal for privately owned air strip to be prepared near the town. From as early as 1933 there was agitation for a licensed public aerodrome for Mudgee. The Mudgee Racecourse was used as a landing ground when the first passenger air service from Mudgee to Sydney commenced 3 August 1937 by Southern Airlines and Freighters Limited.
