Ainsley Hall
Ainsley Hall (born 23 June 1972) is a Cayman Islands cricketer. A right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper, he has played for the Cayman Islands national cricket team since 2005. Playing career Ainsley Hall made his debut for the Cayman Islands in the repêchage tournament for the 2005 ICC Trophy in Kuala Lumpur in February 2005. He played three matches in the tournament, winning the man of the match award against Italy after top-scoring with 51 in the Cayman Islands' innings. He made his first-class debut in August of that year, playing against Bermuda and Canada in the 2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup at the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club. The following year, he played for the Cayman Islands in their two Stanford 20/20 matches against the Bahamas and Trinidad & Tobago. The Bermuda men's national cricket team represents the British overseas territory of Bermuda in international cricket. The team is organised by the Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1966. A Bermudian national team was first organised in 1891, when a tour of New York City was arranged. In the years before World War I, Bermuda and American teams (including the Philadelphians) frequently exchanged tours, although it was not until 1912, when Australia toured, that the national team played a full international. The ICC World Cricket League (WCL) was a series of international one-day cricket tournaments for national teams without Test status (i.e., teams of Associate status) administered by the International Cricket Council. All Associate Members of the ICC were eligible to compete in the league system, which featured a promotion and relegation structure between divisions. Bahamas National Cricket Team
The Bahamas national cricket team is the team that represents The Bahamas in international cricket. The team is organised by the Bahamas Cricket Association (BCA), which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1987 and an associate member in 2017. The national team is first recorded as playing in 1983, but did not feature in an international tournament until 2001, when it played in the inaugural Americas Affiliates Championship. Since then, the Bahamas have regularly participated in ICC Americas tournaments, as well as on one occasion in a World Cricket League event (the 2010 Division Eight tournament). Stanford 20/20
The Stanford 20/20 was a short-lived cricket tournament in the Caribbean island of Antigua. It was held first in July and August 2006 in the West Indies at the Stanford Cricket Ground, St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda, and then again in the same place in 2008. It was a variety of the popular Twenty20 format, which had been first introduced in English cricket in 2003. The tournament was separate to the Stanford Super Series, which was held in late 2008. The tournament was privately devised and funded by wealthy American businessman Allen Stanford, who held Antiguan dual nationality.
