Aichtal
Aichtal () is a town in the district of Esslingen in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It is located 18 km south of Stuttgart.It belongs to the Stuttgart Region (until 1992 ''Region Mittlerer Neckar'') and the European Metropolitan Region Stuttgart. The municipality, which was created in 1975 as part of the municipal reform and consists of the three districts Grötzingen, Aich and Neuenhaus, has a population of around 10,000. Geography Geographical location Aichtal is situated at the southern edge of the Filder plain in the valley of the Aich, a left tributary of the Neckar. It is separated from the Neckar valley by the ridges of Galgenberg, Kleinbergle and Schaichberg. The district of Nürtingen was a district (''Landkreis'') in Baden-Württemberg, which was dissolved in the course of the district reform on January 1, 1973. Schaich (Fluss)
Schaich is a river of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It flows into the Aich near Neuenhaus. Geography Course The Schaich springs at about 544 m from the ''Hengstbrunnen'' in the forest south of Altdorf a little east of the Gabeleiche at the Rauhen Hau. Its headwaters lie in the north of the 582.6 m high Bromberg. From there the river Schaich flows in mainly eastern direction through or at the edge of the areas of the municipalities Altdorf, Holzgerlingen, Weil im Schönbuch, Dettenhausen, Walddorfhäslach, Aichtal and Schlaitdorf. The Aich is a river in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is approximately long. It is a left tributary of the Neckar in Nürtingen. Geography The Aich's origin is in Holzgerlingen. It flows to the north through Neuweiler and then south past Schönaich and Waldenbuch. It then flows through the Schönbuch nature park before passing through Betzenberg. Esslingen (district)
Esslingen is a ''Landkreis'' (district) in the centre of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise) Rems-Murr, Göppingen, Reutlingen, Böblingen and the district-free city Stuttgart. Until 15 October 1964 the district's name was written officially as Landkreis Eßlingen. Neckartailfingen
Neckartailfingen is a municipality in Germany, located approximately south of Stuttgart. It is located on the river Neckar. History Neckartailfingen was first mentioned in 1090 in the Hirsau codex (Codex Hirsaugiensis) as ''Tagelvingen''. Built by order of the Hirsau abbey, the Romanesque Martinskirche was probably completed in the year 1111.
