Ahmed Bening Wiisichong is a Ghanaian people, Ghanaian youth leader, Pan Africanist and a Social Entrepreneur. He was elected as the Secretary General of Panafrican Youth Union, the Pan African Youth Union in November 2021 at the 4th Ordinary Congress of the Panafrican Youth Union, Pan African Youth Union in Niamey, Niger. The Ghanaian people are a nation originating in the Ghanaian Gold Coast. Panafrican Youth Union
The Panafrican Youth Union (PYU) is the apex body for National Youth Coordinating Bodies and Mechanism in Africa. Known formerly as the Panafrican Youth Movement (PYM), it was transformed into the PYU at the organisation's 2003 congress in Windhoek, Namibia. About Based in Khartoum, Sudan, the organisation was formed in Conakry, the capital of the Republic of Guinea, on 26 April 1962, at the urging of African Heads of State and Government at the time, who wanted to create a platform to rally African youth behind the cause of the African liberation. NUGS, officially The National Union of Ghana Students is the largest student organization in Ghana. However the date of it foundation has been the subject of controversy. The official Facebook page suggests 1964. However Professor Anselmus Kludze, father of Ave Kludze, claimed that he was the National President of NUGS for the period 1962–1963. He stated he was preceded by P.D. Vanderpuije of the University of Science and Technology (UST) and followed by Mr. F.Y.I. Fiagbe, also of the UST.
