Ahmed Nabil Ashour Abdelaal (; born 4 July 2001), known as Ahmed Nabil Koka, is an Egyptian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Al Ahly SC, Al Ahly and the Egypt national football team, Egypt national team. Club career Having joined the academy of Al Ahly SC, Al Ahly at the age of seven from the Red Sea Football Academy, Koka rose through the ranks to make his professional debut in the Egyptian Cup against Abu Qair Semad on 21 November 2020. Having struggled to establish himself as a first-team player, Koka contracted COVID-19 shortly after featuring in a 1–1 draw with Future FC, Future on 26 December 2021, with Al-Ahly's medical staff estimating that he would return to first team training in March 2022. However, he went on to suffer with complications of the disease, and would not return to first team action until May of the same year, coming on as a late substitute in a CAF Champions League game against ES Sétif on 14 May. The Egypt national under-23 football team (), sometimes called the Egypt Olympic Team, nicknamed The Pharaohs (), is the national team of Egypt Under-23 and is administered by the Egyptian Football Association. The team's main objectives are to qualify and play at the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations and Olympic Games. As of Los Angeles 2028, players need to be born on or after 1 January 2005 to participate but the team may be supplemented with 3 over-age players. The team has played at the Olympic Games 13 times, with four of these being after the tournament became age capped. They're also the top-medalist at the U-23 African Cup. History Egypt's first ever appearance in football was in Antwerp 1920 where they played one match against Italy. Pyramids Football Club ( or ) is an Egyptian professional football club based in New Cairo, Cairo that competes in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest league in the Egyptian football league system. Formed in 2008 as Al Assiouty Sport in Assiut, the club was bought and moved to Cairo by Turki Al-Sheikh in 2018. Later on, Salem Al Shamsi bought the club in July 2019.
