Ahmed Khalfan Muhail Al-Siyabi (; born 16 July 1993), commonly known as Ahmed Al-Siyabi, is an Omani footballer who plays for Sur SC in Oman Professional League. Sur, Oman
Sur ( ar, صُوْر, Ṣūr) is the capital city of Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, and the former capital of Ash Sharqiyah Region in northeastern Oman, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. It is located about southeast of the Omani capital Muscat. Historically, the city is known for being an important destination point for sailors. Today, the sea still plays an important part of life in Sur. Geography Nearby villages include Dughmur and Qalhat. History By the 6th century, Sur was an established centre for trade with East Africa. Ibn Battuta commented on his visit to this "roadstead of a large village on the seashore." In the 16th century, it was under Portuguese rule but was liberated by the Omani Imam Nasir ibn Murshid and underwent an economic revival, as a trade centre with India and East Africa. Oman Professional League Cup
The Oman Professional League Cup ( ar, كأس دوري المحترفين عمان) (known as the ''Mazda Professional Cup'' for sponsorship reasons), previously known as the Oman Federation Cup, is an Omani football competition. The first edition was played in 2007 and was known as the Oman FA Cup. The competition was not played again until 2012. The competition tends to feature all clubs currently playing in the top flight. The Professional League Cup ranks far below the prestigious Sultan Qaboos Cup in terms of domestic competitions. In 2014, ahead of the 2014-15 Oman Professional League Cup, it was announced by Oman Football Association that Mazda have agreed to sponsor the Professional League Cup and will henceforth be known as the Mazda Professional Cup, for a period of four years.
