Ahmadullah Wasiq
Ahmadullah Wasiq ( ) is an Afghan politician currently Director general of physical education and sports the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Since 25 October 2021 he is also serving as Deputy Central Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan alongside Inamullah Samangani and Maulvi Asadullah (Bilal Karimi). He is from Ghazni Province. On 26 August 2021, Wasiq, along with Anas Haqqani, visited the Afghanistan Cricket Board. They met with cricket board officials and national players and assured them of all possible cooperation for the promotion of cricket. He currently served as acting head of the General Directorate of Olympics, Physical Education and Sports under the Taliban regime. Suhail Shaheen
Muhammad Suhail Shaheen (Pashto/Dari: , , ) is a Taliban member who is currently the head of the Afghan embassy in Qatar and the head of the Political Office in Doha. He edited the English-language, state-owned Afghan newspaper '' The Kabul Times'' during the first Taliban regime, before being appointed to Afghanistan's Embassy in Pakistan as a deputy ambassador. The Taliban-led government appointed him as the Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the United Nations in September 2021, but the UN rejected his appointment to the post. Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai ( ; born 1963) is an Afghan politician, a senior member of the Afghan Taliban and the country's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the internationally unrecognized Taliban regime from 7 September 2021 to 27 January 2025. He was an officer in the Afghan Army after training at an army academy in India. He defected from the army and joined Islamic movements to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. He was a deputy cabinet minister in the first Taliban government. The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB; , ; formerly Afghanistan Cricket Federation) is the official governing body of cricket in Afghanistan. It is Afghanistan's representative at the International Cricket Council (ICC) and was an associate member of ICC from June 2013 until becoming a full member in June 2017.
