Alhaji Ahmad Garba Gunna (born January 1, 1975) is the current Emir of Kagara Emirate, assuming the position on April 7, 2021, succeeding Alhaji Salihu Tanko. Gunna's ascension as the Emir followed the demise of his predecessor, Alhaji Salihu Tanko, on March 2, 2021. Kagara Emirate
The Kagara Emirate is a traditional state located in Kagara near Birnin-Gwari town, founded by the Nagwamatse of Kontagora through Madaki Masoyi. Kagara is the capital of Rafi local government Niger State, Nigeria. The emirate is located in Niger East Senatorial District.
