AHED (company)
AHED Music Corporation, Ltd. was a Canadian company owned by Phil G. Anderson that produced guitar amplifiers, as well as guitars. Its main product line was the GBX amplifier, which could reach 180 watts with 4x10", 4x12" or 2x15" speakers. The GBX amplifier had a pre-amplifier that could change the gain, brilliance, depth, contour and response of the output. AHED, an acronym for Arc Home Entertainment Diversified, was established in 1969. Anderson's earlier holding company, ARC Sound and its Arc Records subsidiary, became part of AHED in the early 1970s. AHED shortened its formal name to AHED Corporation in 1978, then became Eco Corporation. Al Ahed Football Club () is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. The club was founded in 1964 as Al Ahed Al Jadeed, initially starting in the Third Division before reaching the Premier League for the first time in 1996. Nicknamed "the Yellow Castle" (), Ahed have won one AFC Cup title, nine Premier League titles, six FA Cup titles, two Federation Cup titles, eight Super Cup titles, and six Elite Cup titles. They secured their first league title in 2008 and have achieved three unbeaten seasons (in 2010, 2018 and 2022). Al Ahed Stadium () is a football field located in the Al-Ouzai area of Bourj el-Barajneh, in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon. Ahed Joughili (; born October 10, 1984) is a Syrian weightlifter, who competed in the 105 kg division at the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics. Joughili won a silver medal at the 2005 Mediterranean Games and a gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games. Ahed Tamimi
Ahed Tamimi (, also romanized ''Ahd''; born 31 January 2001) is a Palestinian activist from the village of Nabi Salih in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Best known for appearances in photos and videos in which she confronts Israeli soldiers, she has been hailed by pro-Palestinian activists as a symbol of Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation. Her memoir ''They Called Me a Lioness'' was published in 2022. In December 2017, Tamimi was detained by Israeli authorities for slapping a soldier, which was filmed and went viral, attracting international interest and debate. Tamimi was sentenced to eight months in prison after agreeing to a plea bargain and released on 29 July 2018.
