Aham (film)
''Aham'' () is a 1992 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by Rajeevnath and written by Venu Nagavally from a story by Rajeevnath. The film stars Mohanlal, Urvasi, and Ramya Krishna. The soundtrack was composed by Raveendran and cinematography was handled by Santhosh Sivan and Venu Plot Aham means self. The film revolves around Siddharthan, a bank manager, a man who has different outlook to life. He wants to be perfect in every thing that he does and even wants people around him to accept the way he thinks. He lacks love from his parents and develops hatred towards his father, a judge, who was responsible for the death of their servant and his family, who were the only friends of Siddharthan. Rajeevnath
Rajeevnath is a National Award-winning Malayalam film director. Career Rajeevnath ventured into filmmaking with a short film shot in 16mm camera after finishing his university course. He debuted as a director of feature films with ''Thanal'' (1976). The film won him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Director. The film also won M. G. Soman his only Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor. His 1988 film ''Kadaltheerathu'', based on the short story by O. V. Vijayan was selected for Indian Panorama at the International Film Festival of India. The film, made with a minuscule budget of Rs. 600,000 ($12000 as per 2012 conversion rate) was the Indian entry for Alexandria Film Festival. The film received mixed reviews, though according to Rajeevnath, Vijayan himself was very impressed with the film. Adoor Pankajam
Adoor Pankajam (1929 – 26 June 2010) was an Indian actress, in Malayalam movies. She hailed from Adoor in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala state. Mainly, she was a supporting actress and a comedian. Her sister Adoor Bhavani was also a Malayalam cinema actress. Pankajam's most noted performance was in the national award winning film '' Chemmeen'' as "Nalla Pennu". She also did a pivotal role in India's first neo-realistic film '' Newspaper Boy'' (1955). In 2008, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy honoured Pankajam and Bhavani for their overall contributions to theatre and drama. She died at the age of 81 on 26 June 2010. Jagannathan (1938 – 8 December 2012) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam cinema. Biography Jagannathan was born to Sekharan Nair in Changanassery in 1938. He did his primary education from Thuravoor L.P School, Vaikom Government School. He got training from Rashtriya Anushasan Yojan at Rajasthan and won first rank in it. He worked as instructor at L.D.S Training Institute, Indore, Madhya Pradesh for four years.
