Agrafa (municipality)
Agrafa () is a village and a municipality in Evrytania, Central Greece. Its administrative center is the village Kerasochori. It is named after the wide mountainous region of Agrafa, of which it occupies only the SW part. It consists of villages and hamlets spread on the mountain slopes around the river Agrafiotis. Like the rest of Agrafa area, they are known for their complete autonomy throughout the four centuries of Ottoman occupation of Greece, being home to many bands of fighters against the Ottoman rule; including Antonis Katsantonis who is considered as the local hero. The villages are still undeveloped touristically. There are some basic facilities in the bigger villages - family-run hostels and taverns. Chryso, Evrytania
Chryso () is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Viniani in Evrytania, Greece. It is located in the Agrafa mountains, near the Tourla rapids. The community includes the village Agios Konstantinos. Its elevation is approximately . Chryso is located 6 km north of Viniani and 17 km northwest of Karpenisi. The dominant vegetation around Chryso is fir trees. There are many springs near the village, that feed the village water mill. Not many old buildings have been preserved in Chryso, because the village was burned in 1942 by the Italian occupiers and an earthquake in 1966 destroyed many of the remaining buildings. There are three old churches and two 15th century stone bridges over the small river called ''Chrysiotis''. Aspropotamos () is a former municipality in the northwestern part of Evrytania, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Agrafa, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 125.954 km2. Population 1,386 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Raptopoulo. Aetolia-Acarnania is to the west and the Karditsa regional unit to the north. Granitsa, Evrytania
Granitsa ( from the Slavic word for "border") is a mountain village and a community in Evrytania, Greece. It is situated at 720 meters elevation, on a mountain slope above the river Granitsiotis. It is built in the forested lower regions of Mount Liakoura. Granitsa was the seat of the municipality of Aperantia. The community consists of the villages Granitsa, Ano Potamia, Kato Potamia and Armampela. The village preserves its old appearance. It is 82 kilometers northwest of Karpenisi. Vrangiana () is a mountainous village in Evrytania, Greece. It's built on the slopes of Agrafa at an elevation of 1,060 meters. It is also named Megala Vrangiana, to differentiate it from Mikra Vrangiana in Karditsa.
