Agnete Kjølsrud
Agnete Maria Forfang Kjølsrud (born 1 December 1976) is a Norwegian rock singer. She has been the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Djerv since 2009. Kjølsrud previously fronted the alternative metal band Animal Alpha between 2002 and 2009. She appeared on the two albums released by the band, ''Pheromones'' (2005) and ''You Pay for the Whole Seat, But You'll Only Need the Edge'' (2008). Kjølsrud also collaborated with Dimmu Borgir on their studio album titled ''Abrahadabra'' and Solefald on their studio album titled Norrøn livskunst. Animal Alpha
Animal Alpha was a five-piece Norwegian rock group formed in 2002 and disbanded in 2009. History The band spent much of 2004 playing shows around Norway. Their performance at Oslo's Øya Festival received 8 out of 10 points in the British magazine, ''Metal Hammer'', and appeared on the national TV program '' Lydverket''. The band later had two sold-out nights at the 500-crowd-capacity John Dee Live Club & Pub in Oslo. The band then signed with a small independent record label, Racing Junior, and planned the release of its first EP and album for spring 2005. The producer Sylvia Massy recorded both the EP, ''Animal Alpha'', and the album, ''Pheromones'', at her studio in Weed, California. Abrahadabra (album)
''Abrahadabra'' is the ninth studio album by Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir, released in 2010. The first single from the album, "Gateways", was released on 20 August in Europe and 24 August in North America. On 14 September a video for "Gateways" was released featuring Djerv front-woman, Agnete Kjølsrud. On 17 September the song "Born Treacherous" was released on Dimmu Borgir's official Myspace for streaming. On 24 September the band announced they would stream ''Abrahadabra'' in its entirety, until 7 p.m. EST that evening. This would mark the first official release of all the tracks on the album.
