Agnes Dordzie
Agnes Mercy Abla Dordzie is a Ghanaian judge. She was an active justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana until October 2022. She was appointed justice of the Supreme Court in 2018. Dordzie was born in Taviefe-Deme in the Volta Region. After her studies at the Ghana School of Law, she was called to the bar. She worked as a state attorney and a private legal practitioner prior to serving on the bench. She has served on the bench from magistrate level to the Supreme Court of Ghana. Early life and education Dordzie was born 2 October 1952 at Taviefe-Deme in the Volta Region of Ghana. She began schooling at the Roman Catholic Primary School at Taviefe-Deme from 1957 to 1962. A barrister is a type of lawyer in common law jurisdictions. Barristers mostly specialise in courtroom advocacy and litigation. Nene Amegatcher
Nene Abayateye Ofoe Amegatcher is a Ghanaian lawyer, academic and judge. He has been an active justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana since 2018. He was born in Suhum, where he began his formal education. After his call to the Bar in 1980, he began teaching while working as a private legal practitioner. Prior to his appointment, he was the managing partner of Sam Okudzeto and Associates and a senior lecturer at the Ghana School of Law since 1994. Nii Ashie Kotey
Emmanuel Nii Ashie Kotey (born 2 October 1953) is a Ghanaian judge and academic. He has been a Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana since his appointment in 2018. Kotey was born in Osu, a suburb of Accra. After obtaining his LL.M and Ph.D. from the University of London, he enrolled at the Ghana School of Law and was subsequently called to the bar after completing his studies in 1982. He has been a lecturer of the University of Ghana from 1981 until his appointment to the Supreme Court of Ghana bench on 2018. While at the university, he served as the Dean of the university's Faculty of Law and acting director of the Ghana School of Law. Samuel Marful-Sau
Samuel Kofi Marful-Sau (3 February 1957 – 10 August 2021) was a Ghanaian judge. He was an active justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana. Marful-Sau was born in Assin Adubiase in the Central Region. After qualifying as a Barrister-at-law in 1984 he worked at the office of the Provisional National Defence Council and entered private legal practice prior to being called to the High Court bench in June 2002. He subsequently became an Appeal Court judge in 2006 and in 2018 he was appointed justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana. The Ashanti Region is located in southern part of Ghana and it is the third largest of 16 administrative regions, occupying a total land surface of or 10.2 percent of the total land area of Ghana.
