''Aglaocrinus'' is an extinct species of crinoids in the ''Cladia'' order. It has been proposed that it was a blind, stationary (attached) suspension feeder the hard parts of which were composed of magnesium calcite. It has been discovered in 3 locations in North America North America is a continent in the Northern Hemisphere and almost entirely within the Western Hemisphere. It is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, to the southeast by South America and the Car ....
