Agio Pnevma
Agio Pnevma (Greek: Άγιο Πνεύμα) is a village and a former community in Serres regional unit of Central Macedonia, Greece located 12 km east of the city of Serres, on the southwestern mountain slopes of Menoikio (altitude 310 m). Since the 2011 local government reform it is a part (municipal unit) of the municipality Emmanouil Pappas, whose the seat is in Chryso. It has a population of 1,031 inhabitants (2021). Until 1928 was named "Vezniko" and from 1928 until 1940 "Monoiko". Its current name is Greek for "Holy Spirit." Serres () is one of the regional units of Greece, in the geographic region of Macedonia. It is part of the Region of Central Macedonia. Its capital is the city of Serres. The total population reaches just over 150,000. Geography The mountains are Orvelos to the north, Menoikio to the east, Pangaio to the southeast, Kerdylio to the southwest, Vertiskos to the west, parts of Krousi to the west and portions of the Kerkini lies to the northwest. Emmanouil Pappas () is a municipality in the Serres regional unit, Greece. The seat of the municipality is in Chryso. Menoikio
Menoikio (, also known to the local populations as "Bozdakas" and "Bozdas", Greek corruptions of the Turkish name "Boz Dag", which was applied to the mountain by the Turks in Ottoman time, , ''Zmiynitsa'') is a mountain range in the eastern Serres and western Drama regional units of eastern Macedonia, Greece.
