Aero 3S
The Aero 3s is an out of production motorized tricycle body kit add-on introduced by Anibal Automotive Design of Canada in 2006. It is a re-bodied and more aerodynamic version of the Campagna T-Rex. The new body incorporates some features not seen on the T-Rex, such as Lamborghini-style opening scissor doors, side windows, and "an array of phantasmogorical spoilers". The full fibreglass body kit (unpainted) retails at $8,500 USD as of 2018, to which must be added the cost of the host T-Rex. The body was designed by Hani Harouche, who explains that "I called it the Aero 3S, aero for the more aerodynamic shape han the T-Rex and 3S for the three seasons you can actually drive it n Canada N, or n, is the fourteenth letter in the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Its name in English is ''en'' (pronounced ), plural ''ens''. History ..." Take note that this body kit is not made or pr ... Motorized Tricycle
A motorized tricycle, motor trike, or motortrycle is a three-wheeled vehicle based on the same technology as a bicycle or motorcycle, and powered by an electric motor, motorcycle, scooter or car engine. Classification Depending on the design of the vehicle, a motorized trike may be categorized as a motorcycle, motor scooter, or simply the three-wheeled counterpart to a motorized or electric bicycle. The main difference between a motorcycle trike and a scooter trike is that motorcycles are sat on in a "saddle"-style seating (as with a horse), with the legs apart, and motorcycles have manual transmissions. Scooters have a "step-through" seating style, in which the driver sits on a more chair-like seat, with the legs together; as well, scooters have automatic transmissions. Laypersons often associate the engine size as a dividing line between motorcycles and scooters, since a typical scooter has a small 50 cc engine, but scooter engines can also be as large as 650cc as used in t ... Campagna T-Rex
The Campagna T-Rex is a two-seat, three-wheeled motor vehicle created by Campagna Motors, located in Quebec, Canada. It is powered by an in-line 6-cylinder engine from BMW. Although it used to be registered as a motorcycle, it is now largely considered a "three-wheeler". However, in some states, like Arizona, it can still be registered as a motorcycle, but not require a motorcycle endorsement. The interior can accommodate the driver and a single passenger seated side-by-side, with adjustable seat backs, a foot-pedal box, and retractable three-point seat belts. The T-Rex uses a sequential manual transmission, operated by hand with a shift lever, which is the same type of manual transmission used in motorcycles. The T-REX has been commercially available since the early 1990s. The Campagna T-REX was designed and styled by Deutschman Design. History In 1976, 1977 and 1979, Daniel Campagna was a Formula Ford racer in Quebec. He made some significant motoring inventions, including the ... Fiberglass
Fiberglass (American English) or fibreglass (Commonwealth English) is a common type of fiber-reinforced plastic using glass fiber. The fibers may be randomly arranged, flattened into a sheet called a chopped strand mat, or woven into glass cloth. The plastic matrix may be a thermoset polymer matrix—most often based on thermosetting polymers such as epoxy, polyester resin, or vinyl ester resin—or a thermoplastic. Cheaper and more flexible than carbon fiber, it is stronger than many metals by weight, non- magnetic, non- conductive, transparent to electromagnetic radiation, can be molded into complex shapes, and is chemically inert under many circumstances. Applications include aircraft, boats, automobiles, bath tubs and enclosures, swimming pools, hot tubs, septic tanks, water tanks, roofing, pipes, cladding, orthopedic casts, surfboards, and external door skins. Other common names for fiberglass are glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), glass-fiber reinforced plastic ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Three-wheeled Motor Vehicles
A three-wheeler is a vehicle with three wheels. Some are motorized tricycles, which may be legally classed as motorcycles, while others are tricycles without a motor, some of which are human-powered vehicles and animal-powered vehicles. Overview Many three-wheelers which exist in the form of motorcycle-based machines are often called trikes and often have the front single wheel and mechanics similar to that of a motorcycle and the rear axle similar to that of a car. Often such vehicles are owner-constructed using a portion of a rear-engine, rear-drive Volkswagen Beetle in combination with a motorcycle front end. Other trikes include that are specially constructed for off-road use. Three-wheelers can have either one wheel at the back and two at the front (2F1R), (for example: Morgan Motor Company) or one wheel at the front and two at the back (1F2R) (such as the Reliant Robin). Due to better safety when braking, an increasingly popular form is the front-steering "tadpole" or ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
