It became the largest aircraft leasing company in the world after acquiring International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) in 2014, then GECAS from General Electric in 2021. Its assets include wide-body aircraft, regional jets, cargo aircraft, aircraft engines, and helicopters. General Electric owns 45.4% of the company.
