Aegean is the largest natural supplier of marine fuels and lubricants in Greece and is the only independent oil company that is both an international fuel supplier and ship lubricant producer. Dimitris Melissanidis (Greek: Δημήτρης Μελισσανίδης; born 8 March 1951) is a Greek business shipping and oil tycoon who is one of Greece's most successful businessmen. He is the current owner of AEK Athens Football Club. He is the founder and ex-owner of Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc. which is the second largest independent fuel supplier in the world. Melissanidis was ranked 98th in 2015 and 97th in 2014 in the world in the Lloyd's List ''Top 100 Most Influential People in the Shipping Industry'' and has been repeatedly acknowledged for his prestigious international shipping contribution. Aspropyrgos
Aspropyrgos ( el, Ασπρόπυργος) is a suburb of Athens, and a municipality in the West Attica regional unit, Attica, Greece. The municipality had a population of 30,251 at the 2011 census. It has an area of 101.983 km2. Etymology The name 'Aspropyrgos' is derived from the Greek words , meaning 'white', and , meaning 'castle' or 'tower'. Geography Aspropyrgos is located 15 km northwest of the city center of Athens in the Thriasio Plain. It is 5 km northeast of Elefsina, near the Saronic Gulf coast. Alexandroupolis ( el, Αλεξανδρούπολη, ), Alexandroupoli, or Alexandrople is a city in Greece and the capital of the Evros regional unit.
