Life course research is an interdisciplinary field in the social and behavioral sciences. Juho Härkönen is a Finnish academic, currently professor of sociology in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy. At the EUI, he is director of graduate studies for the Department of Political and Social Sciences since 2020, and co-director of the Comparative Life Course and Inequality Research Centre (CLIC) and of Florence Population Studies (FloPS).
