Adult Swim was an Australian adult-oriented free-to-air television block that was last aired from Saturday and Sunday nights on 9Go!. It was originally a separate network that shared channel space with Cartoon Network, starting in 2003 until 31 December 2007. History Adult Swim was first broadcast on Cartoon Network Australia in December 2005 before it was taken down on 31 December 2007. The block is no longer shown on Cartoon Network, however comedy shows started airing on The Comedy Channel on 11 March 2008. The block returned with ''Robot Chicken'' and ''Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law'', in March 2008, with ''Aqua Teen Hunger Force'' joining the programming on 1 July. 9Go! is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Nine Network on 9 August 2009, replacing Nine Guide. It is a youthful channel that offers a mix of comedy, reality, general entertainment, movies, animation and drama aimed at people between the ages of 2 and 18. The series began on the web on TheWB.com with ten episodes, roughly five minutes in length, all of which premiered on December 8, 2008. ''Metalocalypse'' is an American Musical film, musical adult animated television series created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha for Adult Swim. It premiered on August 6, 2006.
