Adrushtavanthulu
''Adrushtavanthulu'' () is a 1969 Telugu-language action drama film, produced by V. B. Rajendra Prasad under the Jagapathi Art Productions banner and is directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Jayalalithaa, and music is composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film was remade as Tamil movie ''Thirudan'' and as Hindi movie '' Himmat'' (1970). Plot The film begins with a notorious criminal, Raghu, who is acquitted from jail as a reformation when Inspector Murthy asserts that a criminal will never change. Ergo, Raghu challenges him to prove his opinion is false. Soon after, Raghu's previous gangsters take him to their Boss, who welcomes him, which he rejects, and makes him aware that he wants to lead an honorable life. ''Thirudan'' () is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language action film, directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, K. Balaji and Vijayalalitha. It is a remake of the Telugu film '' Adrushtavanthulu'' (1969), and was released on 10 October 1969. The film became a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres. Geetanjali (actress)
Geethanjali (1947 – 31 October 2019) was an Indian actress who worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi films. In a career spanning close to six decades, she featured in over 500 films across multiple languages. Her first film as a dancer is Rani Ratnaprabha in 1960. NTR introduced her to the silver screen as a heroine with his directorial debut film '' Sita Rama Kalyanam'' in 1961. She was famous for her roles in '' Murali Krishna'' (1964), '' Doctor Chakravarthy'' (1964), ''Illalu'' (1965), '' Sambarala Rambabu'' (1970), '' Kaalam Marindi'' (1972), and ''Abbayigaru Ammayigaru'' (1973). Jaggayya
Kongara Jaggayya (31 December 1926 – 5 March 2004) was an Indian actor, littérateur, journalist, lyricist, dubbing artist and politician known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He was known as ''Kanchu Kantam Jaggayya'' (Telugu language, Telugu) for his booming voice. In a film career spanning forty years as a matinee idol, he starred in eighty films, as a lead actor, and lead antagonist in a variety of genres. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ; 7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi (''). Life Athreya was born on 7 May 1921 in Mangalampadu village near Sullurpeta, Nellore district of the Madras Presidency of British India. His birthname was Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu. He took ''Acharya'' from his birth name and ''Aatreya'' his Gotra name, combined them as ''Acharya Aatreya'' and adopted it as his pen name. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered one of the greatest singers of Telugu and Indian cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema.
