Adrián Alonso García Sobarzo (born May 25, 1978) is a former professional tennis player from Chile. Born in Concepción, Chile, García achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 103 in September 2004. His best achievement in singles was reaching the quarterfinals of the 2004 Sopot Open, where he lost to Félix Mantilla in straight sets. Adrián García (actor)
Victor Adrian Garcia Roche (born 24 February 1943) is a Puerto Rican television and film actor and comedian. He has worked on Puerto Rican television for decades, and has also participated in films such as 1976's La Pandilla en Apuros, a movie that also allowed Garcia to participate in his first musical album (albeit as an actor, as he appeared on a song where he voiced the character he played in the movie). By his own account, Garcia has participated in some 20 films. Biography Garcia was born in the western Puerto Rico town of Mayagüez. Garcia has said that humor was in him since the day he was born. As a young child, Garcia lived in a wooden, two-story building where his house was on the second floor, and a mom-and-pop style supermarket (a "colmado" or "colmadito", in Puerto Rican slang) occupied the first floor. Adrian Garcia (born December 26, 1960) is an American politician and the current County Commissioner foPrecinct 2in Harris County, Texas. Garcia spent 23 years with the Houston Police Department, before becoming a city councilman. Garcia served six years as a Houston City Councilman, eventually becoming Mayor Pro-Tempore under former Mayor Bill White. In 2008, he became Sheriff of Harris County. In 2015, Garcia stepped down from post as Sheriff to run for Mayor of the City of Houston. Garcia won the general election to be Commissioner of Precinct 2 for Harris County on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on March 6, 2018. Garcia ran for re-election in 2022 and won the election against former Precinct 2 commissioner Jack Morman, with 52.6% of the vote. Adrián García Conde (4 May 1886 – 13 May 1943) was a Mexican-British chess master. Born in Valladolid, Yucatán, Mexico, since age 4 he lived in Liverpool, Bradford, London, Hull, and then in London again. He won the Liverpool Chess Club Table tournament in 1907/8 and 1908/9, tied for 6-7th in the Hamburg 1910 chess tournament (the 17th DSB Congress, ''Hauptturnier A'', Gersz Rotlewi won), took 6th at San Sebastian 1911 (B tournament, Rodriguez won). After World War I, he settled in United Kingdom. While living in Hull, he led a team (with H Williams and R Bainbridge) playing White against a team led by Alekhine (with G Barron and E Hanger). Adrian Garcia Marquez (born December 28, 1973) is an American sportscaster who works for Fox Deportes as a play-by-play announcer, narrator, and host. He also serves as one of the international voices of the NBA calling action on the NBA League Pass. Prior to joining Fox and the NBA, he was with the Los Angeles Lakers for 6 seasons serving as the team's Spanish TV play-by-play announcer on Time Warner Cable Deportes later becoming Spectrum Deportes.
