Adrienne Southworth
Adrienne E. Southworth (born April 18, 1988) is an American politician from Kentucky. She is a Republican who represented District 7 in the Kentucky Senate. She was defeated for renomination in the 2024 primaries. After Donald Trump lost the 2020 election and refused to concede, Southworth promoted falsehoods and conspiracy theories about election fraud, including an unsubstantiated claim that all presidential elections since Ronald Reagan’s victory in 1980, with the exception of Trump's victory in 2016, have been rigged. In February 2021 Southworth filed Senate Bill 158 as its sole sponsor, looking to ban the mandate of face mask requirements during a state of emergency amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Kentucky. Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is a Libertarianism in the United States, libertarian student activism organization headquartered in Austin, Texas. Formed in 2008 in the aftermath of the Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign, YAL establishes chapters on high school and college campuses across the United States, for the purpose of "advancing liberty on campus and in American electoral politics." Michael Gene Adams (born March 27, 1976) is an American politician who is a member of the Republican Party. He is the secretary of state of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He succeeded Alison Lundergan Grimes on January 6, 2020. Early life and career Adams is from Paducah, Kentucky.
