Adric
Adric is a fictional character played by Matthew Waterhouse in the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. He was a young native of the planet Alzarius, which exists in the parallel universe of E-Space. A companion of the Fourth and Fifth Doctors, he was a regular in the programme from 1980 to 1982 and appeared in 11 stories (40 episodes). Earthshock
''Earthshock'' is the sixth serial of the 19th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. It was first broadcast in four twice-weekly parts on BBC1 from 8 to 16 March 1982. This serial marks the final regular appearance of Matthew Waterhouse as Adric and his death, with the final episode featuring unique silent credits in loving memory of the character. It is also the first to feature the Cybermen since '' Revenge of the Cybermen'' in 1975. The serial is mainly set on Earth and a deep-space freighter in 2526. Matthew Waterhouse
Matthew Waterhouse (born 19 December 1961) is an English actor and writer, best known for his role as Adric in the BBC science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' from 1980 to 1982. Early life Waterhouse was born in Hertford, but brought up in Haywards Heath, Sussex. The son of a solicitor, he was educated at St. Wilfrid's Primary School, West Sussex and Shoreham Grammar School. Waterhouse was a great fan of ''Doctor Who'' in his younger days, claiming that he was "obsessed" with the show. ''Doctor Who'' Adric was a companion of Tom Baker and Peter Davison's Doctors from 1980 to 1982. Waterhouse was the youngest actor to play a companion and ''Doctor Who'' was only his second professional acting role. Nyssa is a fictional character in the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. She is played by Sarah Sutton. ''Logopolis'' is the seventh and final serial of the 18th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in four weekly parts on BBC1 from 28 February to 21 March 1981. Tegan Jovanka is a fictional character played by Janet Fielding in the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. An Australian airline stewardess and a native of Brisbane who was a companion of the Fourth and Fifth Doctors, she was a regular in the programme from 1981 to 1984. Tegan appeared in 20 stories (65 episodes).
