Adrian Sturges
Adrian Sturges (born 17 October 1976) is a British-born film producer. Early life Sturges was born in London, England and grew up in Rochester, Kent Education Sturges was educated at The King's School, Rochester, in Kent, in South East England. He studied Theology and Religious Studies and History of Art at King's College, Cambridge and graduated with First Class Honours in 1998. Whilst at Cambridge he was President of the Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club and produced comedy for the Footlights. Sturges studied producing at the National Film and Television School, taking their Industry Course and was selected for the inaugural Inside Pictures scheme. Life and career Sturges began his career working as assistant to producer Simon Relph whilst he was also chairman of BAFTA. Lewisham, London
Lewisham ( ) is an area of southeast London, England, south of Charing Cross. It is the principal area of the London Borough of Lewisham, and was within the Historic counties of England, historic county of Kent until 1889. It is identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London, with a large shopping centre and street market. Lewisham had a population of 60,573 in 2011. Michael De Luca (born August 13, 1965) is an American film studio executive, film producer and screenwriter. He is also the former president of production at both New Line Cinema and DreamWorks. De Luca has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Picture. ''Albatross'' is a 2011 British coming-of-age drama film directed by Niall MacCormick, written by Tamzin Rafn and starring Sebastian Koch, Julia Ormond, Felicity Jones and Jessica Brown Findlay. The film revolves around the premise of an aspiring teenage writer entering the lives of a dysfunctional family living on the south coast of England. " Albatross" is a metaphor used to describe a constant and inescapable burden. The film was shot entirely on the Isle of Man with the support of the island's government.
