Adrian Gîdea
Adrian Mihai Gîdea (born 13 March 2000) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Liga II side Politehnica Timișoara, on loan from CFR Cluj. Club career Gîdea made his debut for CFR Cluj on 22 December 2020, in a 0–0 Liga I draw with U Craiova. He registered his first Liga I goal on 25 May, in a 2–0 home win with FCSB. Drobeta-Turnu Severin (), colloquially Severin, is a city in Mehedinți County, Oltenia, Romania, on the northern bank of the Danube, close to the Iron Gates. "Drobeta" is the name of the ancient Dacian and Roman towns at the site, and the modern town of Turnu Severin received the additional name of Drobeta during Nicolae Ceaușescu's national-communist dictatorship as part of his myth-making efforts. The city administers three villages: Dudașu Schelei, Gura Văii, and Schela Cladovei. The city's population is 92,617 (2011), up from 18,628 in 1900. 2022–23 Liga I
The 2022–23 Liga I (also known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the 105th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season started on 16 July 2022 and will end in May 2023. It is the seventh season to take place since the play-off/play-out format has been introduced, and CFR Cluj is the five-time consecutive defending champion club. After the conclusion of the regular season, teams will be divided according to their place to enter either the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs. The teams ranked 15th and 16th at the end of the play-out tournament will be directly relegated, while the 13th and 14th places played a promotion/relegation play-off against 3rd and 4th places from Liga II.
