Adrian Fisher (musician)
Adrian Fisher (2 September 1952 – 31 March 2000) was an English guitarist and a member of the bands Toby (a spin off from the band Free (band), Free), Sparks band, Sparks and Boxer (band), Boxer. He played on Sparks' first two albums under Island Records, ''Kimono My House'' and ''Propaganda (Sparks album), Propaganda''. Prior to joining Sparks, Fisher was a member of Free bassist Andy Fraser's band Toby (with drummer Stan Speake), and briefly joined (former Skid Row) bassist Brush Shiels in the short-lived Brush. Fisher joined Sparks in 1973 and recorded the ''Kimono My House'' album in that year, along with Martin Gordon (bass) and Norman "Dinky" Diamond, Dinky Diamond (drums). He performed live with Sparks during the ''Kimono My House'' tour of the UK in 1974. Adrian is a form of the Latin language, Latin given name Adrianus (given name), Adrianus or Hadrianus (other), Hadrianus. Absolutely (Boxer Album)
''Absolutely'' was the second record by the band Boxer (band), Boxer, released in 1977 on the Epic Records, Epic record label. Singer/pianist Mike Patto had assembled a new-look lineup including bassist Tim Bogert from Vanilla Fudge, guitarist Adrian Fisher from Sparks (band), Sparks, Chris Stainton from Joe Cocker's band (and many others) along with drummer Eddie Tuduri from the American band Wha-Koo. The album was also released in the U.S. with a different cover. There had been rumours that George Martin was interested in working with Boxer. The album was eventually produced by Jeff Glixman, who had worked with The Allman Brothers Band, the Allman Brothers and Kansas (band), Kansas. Patto collaborated with all the band members to write the songs on this album. "Rich Man's Daughter" is a reworking of the same song recorded by the Boxer lineup for ''Bloodletting (Boxer album), Bloodletting'', which was recorded in 1976. This album was Patto's last recording. Myocardial Infarction
A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when Ischemia, blood flow decreases or stops in one of the coronary arteries of the heart, causing infarction (tissue death) to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is retrosternal Angina, chest pain or discomfort that classically radiates to the left shoulder, arm, or jaw. The pain may occasionally feel like heartburn. This is the dangerous type of acute coronary syndrome. Other symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, presyncope, feeling faint, a diaphoresis, cold sweat, Fatigue, feeling tired, and decreased level of consciousness. About 30% of people have atypical symptoms. Women more often present without chest pain and instead have neck pain, arm pain or feel tired. Tim Bogert
John Voorhis "Tim" Bogert III (August 27, 1944 – January 14, 2021) was an American musician. As a bass guitarist and vocalist he was best known for his powerful vocal ability and his fast runs, fluid agility and ground-breaking sound on his Fender Precision Bass. He was one of the pioneers of using distortion with his bass to help it cut through the mix with the low-powered amps of his time which also imparted a very sharp-edged sound to it. He was a frequent collaborator with drummer Carmine Appice; the duo performed in such bands as Vanilla Fudge, Cactus and the power trio Beck, Bogert & Appice. Cactus is an American rock band formed in 1969. It is currently comprising Jimmy Kunes as lead singer, guitarist Paul Warren, drummer Carmine Appice, bassist Jimmy Caputo and Randy Pratt on harmonica. Vanilla Fudge is an American rock band known predominantly for their slow extended heavy rock arrangements of contemporary hit songs, such as their hit cover of the Supremes' " You Keep Me Hangin' On". The band's original line–up was vocalist/organist Mark Stein, bassist/vocalist Tim Bogert, guitarist/vocalist Vince Martell, and drummer/vocalist Carmine Appice. They recorded five albums during the years 1967–69, before disbanding in 1970. The band has toured as recently as 2022 with three of the four original members: Stein, Martell, and Appice, with Pete Bremy on bass. Bogert retired in 2010 and died in 2021. The band has been cited as "one of the few American links between psychedelia and what soon became heavy metal" and as a proto-prog band.
