Adrian Falub
Adrian Falub (born 8 July 1971) is a Romanian football manager and former player. Club career Falub started to play football at Unirea Dej in the 4'th Romanian league. In 1989, he was transferred to the Liga I team U Cluj where he played 9 consecutive seasons. In 1996 Adrian Falub was sold to FC Basel because of the financial difficulties of the club. Falub joined Basel's first team for their 1996–97 season under heas coach Karl Engel. He played his domestic league debut for his new club in the home game in the St. Jakob Stadium on 4 September 1996 as Basel were defeated 2–4 by Lausanne-Sport. Falub did not adapt successfully to the Swiss lifestyle and after only one year, he returned to his beloved team U Cluj. During his short time with the club Falub played a total of 35 games for Basel scoring one goal. 24 of these games were in the Nationalliga A, three in the Swiss Cup and the other eight were friendly games. Club Sportiv LPS HD Clinceni, commonly known as Clinceni and formerly known as ''Academica Clinceni'' is a Romanian amateur football club based in Clinceni, Ilfov County, currently playing in the Liga IV - Ilfov County. In the summer of 2022 former ''Academica Clinceni'' went bankrupt, but the club was refounded as LPS HD (Liceul cu Program Sportiv Helmuth Duckadam) Clinceni. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Karl Engel (Swiss Footballer)
Karl Engel (born 24 November 1952) is a Swiss former footballer who played as a goalkeeper during the 1970s and 1980s. Career Engel began playing professionally in 1971 with FC Lucerne, where he continued to play until 1975 when he signed for Servette FC. He saw the most successful years of his career at Servette, winning the League Title in 1979, the Swiss Cup in 1978 and 1979, and the League Cup in 1977, 1979 and 1980. In 1980, he joined Neuchâtel Xamax and he played for the club until 1986 when he moved on to AC Lugano. He retired from playing in 1990. He was capped 26 times by the Swiss national team, making his debut in a 2–0 win over the United States on 6 September 1978 in Lucerne and playing his last international match on 10 November 1985, in a 1–1 draw with Norway, also in Lucerne. The 1996–97 Fussball Club Basel 1893 season was their 104th season since the club's foundation. Peter Epting retired from the chairmanship and René C.
