Pranas Končius
Pranas Končius code name ''Adomas'' (born in 1911 in Bargaliai, Kretinga district) was the last anti-Soviet Lithuanian partisan killed in action. He was shot by Ministry of Internal Affairs (Soviet Union), MVD forces on July 6, 1965 (or according to other sources shot himself in order not to be captured on July 13). There still were remaining anti-Soviet partisans, who legalised themselves later or lived illegally for decades to come. Before World War II, Končius served in the Lithuanian Army. He also participated in the anti-Soviet June Uprising in Lithuania, June Uprising in 1941. In 2000, Končius was posthumous recognition, posthumously awarded the Cross of Vytis. In September 2015, President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė signed a decree which took away the award due to him being involved in the Holocaust. Icikas Meskupas
Icikas Meskupas pseudonym Adomas (20 August 1907 – 13 March 1942) was a leader of the Lithuanian Komsomol and Communist Party in interwar Lithuania. He was elected to the People's Seimas and the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union. He became the second secretary of the party in February 1941. For his communist activities, he was arrested and imprisoned several times by Lithuania and once by Nazi Germany. During World War II, he joined the Soviet partisans and was killed in a shootout with the Lithuanian police. Early life Meskupas was born in Ukmergė, then part of the Russian Empire, to a family of a Lithuanian Jewish tailor. Two of his uncles were active in the communist movement and he joined the Lithuanian Komsomol in late 1924 while still a high school student. Adomas Drungilas (born 6 October 1990) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. In 2021, he won the Icelandic championship with Þór Þorlákshöfn where he was named the Úrvalsdeild Playoffs MVP. In 2016, he won the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga and Austrian Cup with Oberwart Gunners and was named the Cup Final Four MVP. In 2018, he won the Romanian Cup with U-BT Cluj-Napoca. Adomas Galdikas
Adomas Galdikas (October 18, 1893, in Giršinai, near Mosėdis – December 7, 1969, in New York City) was a Lithuanian painter, graphic artist, and scenographer. Biography Galdikas graduated from Baron Stieglitz's painting studio in Saint Petersburg in 1917. Galdikas continued his studies in Berlin, Sweden, Italy, and France. In 1923, after returning to Lithuania, he founded his own graphics studio in Kaunas, where he worked until 1940. At the same time he was also lecturing at the Kaunas Art School. During World War II Galdikas was a professor at the Kaunas Applied Arts Institute. Vytautas Kazimieras Jonynas was among his students. From 1946 to 1947 Galdikas lectured as a professor in Freiburg im Breisgau (École des Arts et Métiers). In 1947 Galdikas moved to Paris, and in 1952 to the United States.
