Admiralty FC
Admiralty Football Club, also commonly known as Admiralty FC, is a association football, football club which plays in the Division 2 of the Singapore Football League, the third tier of football in Singapore. The club is currently participating in FAS Singapore Football League , Island Wide League under the new name, Eastern Thunder FC. History Admiralty FC started in 1987 as a participant in the Sembawang Group League, a mini-league organized by the Football Association of Singapore which involved amateur clubs based in the Sembawang area in the 1980s. During its time in the Sembawang Group League, Admiralty FC often played against Delhi Juniors, which was the original name of Woodlands Wellington before it changed its name to Wellington FC in 1998. In 1989, Admiralty FC finished as one of the top two teams in the Island-Wide League and was set to be promoted to the Division 2 of the Singapore National Football League, National Football League (NFL). Singapore National Football League
The Singapore Football League (SFL) is a football tournament for semi-professional clubs that are affiliated to the Football Association of Singapore. It makes up the second and third tier of football in Singapore after the professional Singapore Premier League, which was established in 1996 and before the FAS Island Wide League. The teams are also eligible to compete in the Singapore FA Cup. The Singapore national football team represents Singapore in the senior men's international football. 2022 Island Wide League
The 2022 Island Wide League is the 2022 season of the FAS Island Wide League (IWL), the fourth-tier Men's amateur football league in Singapore. Summary 2022 Island Wide League is set to kick off on 17 September after a two-year absence due to the coronavirus pandemic. The tournament will see 20 clubs – four more than the last edition – competing from September to November 2022. GFA Victoria FC and Kaki Bukit SC were relegated from the SFL in the previous edition, while East Coast United, Tanah Merah United and Marsiling Causeway Bay FC will feature in the IWL for the first time. Singapore Xin Hua won the 2022 IWL title by beating Kaki Bukit SC 2–0 in the final on 3 December 2022 at Jalan Besar Stadium. SXHFC became the 10th winner of the competition and finished their campaign with a 100 per cent record, having won all seven of their games. Singapore Recreation Club
The Singapore Recreation Club (Abbreviation: SRC; ) is one of Singapore's oldest social clubs with a strong sporting tradition, located on Connaught Drive at the north end of the Padang in the heart of Singapore's Civic District. History The Singapore Recreation Club was founded on 23 June 1883 by a group of thirty Eurasian men and was officially established on 1 July 1883. At that time, the club was housed in a building on Waterloo Street. In 1884, a club pavilion was erected on the site of the Padang. Two years later, the club adopted navy blue and red as its corporate colours: navy blue for sportsmanship and red for the brotherhood of man in sports. Nordine Talhi
Nordine Talhi (born 22 July 1986) is a French former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or defender. He is currently playing for Singapore Football League semi-professional club Project Vaults Oxley. Club career Étoile In 2010, Étoile signed Talhi for the 2010 S.League season, he made 15 appearances for the clubin his first season. Despite the majority of the team being released for the 2011 S.League season, Talhi was retained by new manager Guglielmo Arena. Muhammad Shariff bin Abdul Samat (5 January 1984 – 10 February 2020) was a Singaporean Singapore national football team, international Association football, footballer. Tan Sio Beng is a Singaporean former footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender for Singapore National Football League, NFL Division 2 side Admiralty FC and the Singapore national football team. Club career Tan's performances during training for Balestier Khalsa led to his debut in 1999 after he impressed Balestier Khalsa, Tigers coach PN Sivaji. Azhar Baksin
Azhar Baksin (born 26 November 1976) is an ex- Singaporean international footballer who plays as a midfielder for NFL Division 2 side Admiralty FC. Apart from his playing duties, he was also appointed as the coach of the Wolves following the departure of former player coach Mohd Noor Ali to Geylang United in June 2012. Club career A true veteran, Azhar has played for S.League sides Tampines Rovers, Geylang United, Home United and Sengkang Punggol, before switching over to Admiralty FC during the 2012 NFL Division 2 season.
