Adil Anwar
Adil Anwar ( ur, عادل انور; born 6 July 1987) is a former British professional boxer who competed from 2007 to 2017. He won the English welterweight title in 2011 and challenged for the British super lightweight title in 2013. Early life and amateur career Anwar was born to a British Pakistani family in 6 July 1987 and was raised in Burley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. His grandfather was a gymnast and boxed in the Army, and several of his uncles were also involved in combat sports. Anwar started boxing after his father took him to the gym at the age of 13 to learn to defend himself. He was initially reluctant but eased into the sport as he grew older, having his first fight when he was 14 He got into the 'National Boys Clubs' (NACYP) final where he lost to Gary Barker, he then won The Junior ABA Championships and National Boys Clubs at a later date as well as winning whilst boxing for England at International events. Light welterweight, also known as junior welterweight or super lightweight, is a weight class in combat sports. Boxing Professional boxing In professional boxing, light welterweight is contested between the lightweight and welterweight divisions, in which boxers weigh above 61.2kg or 135 pounds and up to 63.5 kg or 140 pounds. The first champion of this weight class was Pinky Mitchell in 1946, though he was only awarded his championship by a vote of the readers of the ''Boxing Blade'' magazine. Darren Hamilton
Darren Hamilton (born 6 September 1978) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2015. He held the British super lightweight title from 2012 to 2014. Boxing career Hamilton began his boxing career at the age of 12, when an uncle took him and a cousin to a local gym in Bristol. He would later go on to box for the St George's club in that city. As a schoolboy, he would fight in 27 amateur bouts, losing just four. Hamilton showed considerable promise as an amateur, despite never making it to international level, or ever entering the senior ABA ranks. IceSheffield
iceSheffield is an ice arena in the Lower Don Valley, Sheffield, England. iceSheffield was completed in May 2003 at a cost of £15 million and is a Centre of Excellence for figure skating, ice dance and hockey, and it is one of only two facilities in the UK that has two Olympic sized ice pads with seating for 1,500 people in pad 1 and 125 in pad 2. Santa Ponsa (Catalan and officially: ''Santa Ponça'') is a small town in the southwest of Mallorca. Located in the municipality of Calvià, it is 18 kilometres from the capital Palma.
