Adidas Arena
The Adidas Arena (also known by its project name Paris Arena II) is a multi-purpose and modular hall located in Quartier de La Chapelle, La Chapelle neighborhood of Paris (18th arrondissement of Paris, 18th arrondissement). The arena has a capacity of 8,000 seats for sporting events and 9,000 seats for concerts and shows, as well as two gymnasiums which will be for use by local clubs and residents. Under construction since the beginning of March 2020, it was expected to be completed by the spring of 2024 and was inaugurated on 11 February 2024 during the LNB Élite basketball match between Paris Basketball, Paris and Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball, Saint-Quentin, won 87 to 65 by Paris. The Women's World Games were the first international women's sports events in track and field. The games were held four times between 1922 and 1934. They were established by Alice Milliat and the Fédération Sportive Féminine Internationale (FSFI) to compensate for the lack of women's sports at the Olympic Games.
