''Adhadhu'' is an online news website based in Malé, Maldives. Adhadhu's journalists has received many awards from the Maldives Media Council. History Adhadhu was registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs on 22 February 2022. On 20 March 2023, Editor-in-chief Hussain Fiyaz Moosa was sent text messages which contained death threats after publishing an article about organised crime and religious extremism. In 2024, Adhadhu won the politics, sports, video documentary, investigative journalism (audio and video) categories at the Journalism Awards. On 16 March 2025, Adhadhu filed a police complaint after president Mohamed Muizzu called Adhadhu's CEO Hussain Fiyaz Moosa and threatened him. This was condemned by the Maldives Journalists Association and Transparency Maldives. Skeelan
''Skeelan'' is a 2023 investigative documentary produced by ''Adhadhu''. Skeelan on the alleged mistreatment and deportation from the Maldives of Gnei Skeelan, a Sri Lankan national and the stepmother of the President of the Maldives, President Mohamed Muizzu. This film examines the inheritance dispute which followed after the death of Muizzu's father, Hussain Abdul Rahman, and the circumstances surrounding her deportation from the Maldives in 2016, as well as her current relations with Muizzu's family. Description Gnei Skeelan Hussain was married to Hussain Abdul Rahman, the father of Mohamed Muizzu from 2002 until Rahman's death in 2015. Mohamed Muizzu
Mohamed Muizzu (born 15 June 1978) is a Maldivian politician and engineer who has been serving as the 8th president of the Maldives and leader of the People's National Congress (Maldives), People's National Congress since 2023. He previously served as housing minister from 2012 to 2018, making him the longest-serving housing minister in Maldivian history. Muizzu was the mayor of Malé from 2021 until his resignation in 2023. Born in Malé, Muizzu studied civil engineering in the United Kingdom and completed his PhD in 2009 at University of Leeds. Malé is the capital and most populous city of the Maldives. With a population of 211,908 in 2022 within its administrative area and coterminous geographical area of , Malé is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. The city is geographically located in the southern edge of North Malé Atoll ( Kaafu Atoll). Raajje TV
Raajje TV is a television channel based in the Maldives, known for its news coverage, entertainment programs, and cultural content. The channel started broadcasting on 5 June 2008 as Future TV, adopting its current name in 2011.
