Adem Ilhan
Adem Ilhan (born 20 November 1977) is an English composer, producer and singer-songwriter. He has released many albums: his solo music project released under the name Adem, in the acclaimed post-rock band Fridge, alongside Kieran Hebden, and as part of the electronic duo Silver Columns with Johnny Lynch. He has scored several feature films and television series and numerous documentaries. Recording history Ilhan's debut solo album, '' Homesongs'', appeared on Domino Records in 2004. Mixed by Kieran Hebden, the album found critical acclaim with limited commercial success. The album includes the song "Statued", which featured on the soundtrack of the film '' Dead Man's Shoes''. A second album, '' Love and Other Planets'', was released on 24 April 2006 to generally favourable reviews. In May 2008 Ilhan released a collection of cover songs called ''Takes''. Bedhead (band)
Bedhead was an American indie rock band, active from 1991 to 1998, based in Dallas, Texas. Members consisted of Matt and Bubba Kadane (vocals and guitar), Tench Coxe (guitar), Kris Wheat (bass), and Trini Martinez (drums). The band released several EPs and three LPs on Trance Syndicate, touring intermittently. Bedhead's music was generally subdued, with three electric guitars and one electric bass guitar over sung or spoken vocals. Allmusic dubbed the group "the quintessential indie rock band," and ''Tiny Mix Tapes'' gave their final album '' Transaction de Novo'' a perfect 5/5 score. It was shown in the Panorama section at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival and released on 11 March 2016 in the United Kingdom. Plot Kate and Justin are expecting their first baby, and have new downstairs neighbours, Jon and Theresa, who are also expecting their first baby. They invite Jon and Theresa for dinner, during which it's revealed that Kate and Justin hadn't wanted children and were together 10 years before deciding to have a baby, and conceived quickly thereafter. David Farr (theatre Director)
David Farr (born 29 October 1969) is a British writer, theatrical director and Associate Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Background Farr was brought up in Surrey and educated in Guildford and the University of Cambridge (English Literature double first). Career Farr began directing theatre at University and won the ''Guardian Student Drama Award'' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1991 with ''Slight Possession'' starring Rachel Weisz. His professional directorial debut came at The Gate Theatre, Notting Hill in 1995 (aged 25) under Stephen Daldry. He was also Artistic Director of Bristol Old Vic from 2002 to 2005 and Lyric Hammersmith from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company as Associate Director. Armando Iannucci
Armando Giovanni Iannucci (; born 28 November 1963) is a Scottish satirist, writer, director, producer and performer. Born in Glasgow to Italian parents, Iannucci studied at the University of Glasgow followed by the University of Oxford. Starting on BBC Scotland and BBC Radio 4, his early work with Chris Morris on the radio series '' On the Hour'' transferred to television as '' The Day Today''. Philip Selway
Philip James Selway (born 23 May 1967) is an English musician and the drummer of the rock band Radiohead. He combines rock drumming with electronic percussion. Selway was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Radiohead in 2019. Lau (band)
Lau is a British folk band from both Scotland and England, formed in 2005. Named after an Orcadian word meaning "natural light", the band is composed of Kris Drever (guitar, vocals), Martin Green (accordion, piano, electronics) and Aidan O'Rourke (fiddle). Background The album was released in support of Survival International, the human rights organisation for tribal peoples. The themes of the album are life around the Amazon River and other remote tribal areas. These topics are covered in the Bruce Parry television series ''Tribe'' and ''Amazon''. All of the music on the album is exclusive and was written for the project. Many of the songs on the record contain samples recorded by Bruce Parry whilst living with tribal communities.
