Adelaida Mammadova
Adelaida Mammadova (b. 22 August 1922; Tiflis, Georgia SSR - d. 25 April 2015; Baku, Azerbaijan) was an Azerbaijani musician-scientist, educator, public figure and Recipient of the Shohrat Order. She was Bulbul's wife and Polad Bülbüloğlu's mother. Life After the death of Bulbul, the renowned singer of Azerbaijan and the Soviet Union, in 1977, Mammadova was appointed as the director of the Bulbul House Museum established in Shusha. During her leadership, more than 6,000 documents related to Bulbul were gathered. She delved into Bulbul's creativity in the academic field, writing various books and articles about the art of music. The museum under her guidance was dispersed after being occupied by Armenians in Shusha in 1992. She died on April 25, 2015, and was laid to rest in the II Alley of Honor. House-Museum Of Bulbul (Shusha)
The House-Museum of Bulbul was the Shusha branch of the Bulbul memorial museum in Baku, Azerbaijan, until 1992. It was previously in a ruined status but has been recently restored. About The house consisted of two rooms and a balcony. Here the pictures of Bulbul's childhood were stored. Some of his personal things, including his dayereh, were displayed in the museum. On the wall Bulbul's concert posters from 1925 to 1926 were hanging. The exposition had reflected Bulbul's activities in Azerbaijan in the 20s in Ganja and his active participation in the music industry in Azerbaijan during the cultural revolution. Photographs of documents about Bulbul's activities in the Komsomol and Trade Union, his performance in Baku, documents and materials about his education in Azerbaijan State Conservatoire and in Italy, large portrait of Bulbul in Italian magazine "Arte Nostra" and articles about him, photos with friends and family were displayed on the showcase. II Alley Of Honor
II Alley of Honor ( Azerbaijani: ''II Fəxri Xiyaban'') is a cemetery located in Yasamal district of Baku, Azerbaijan. Background The cemetery was created in the late 1960s. Like the First Alley of Honor, prominent scientists, artists, politicians, national heroes of Azerbaijan, heroes of the Azerbaijan SSR, as well as well-known people who worked in the field of economy and agriculture are buried here. Those buried there are people who have been awarded high state awards. In 2020, a new part of the alley was created. Polad Hashimov and Ilgar Mirzayev, who died during the military clash in Tovuz region on July 12-16, 2020, were the first people to be buried in the new part of the alley. More than 100 soldiers who died in the Second Karabakh War were also buried there. Shusha
Shusha (, ) or Shushi () is a city in Azerbaijan, in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. Situated at an altitude of 1,400–1,800 metres (4,600–5,900 ft) in the Karabakh mountains, the city was a mountain resort in the Soviet Union, Soviet era. Most sources date Shusha's establishment to the 1750s by Panah Ali Khan, founder of the Karabakh Khanate, coinciding with the foundation of Shusha fortress, the fortress of Shusha. Polad Bülbüloğlu
Polad Bulbuloghlu (; born February 4, 1945) is a Soviet and Azerbaijani singer, actor, politician, and diplomat. Bulbuloghlu became famous in the Soviet Union with composing jazz-influenced songs with heavy Azerbaijani folk influences in Azerbaijani and Russian languages. He also sang his own songs. Three of his songs became Songs of the Year and he received numerous prestigious awards in the Soviet Union. Bulbuloghlu is a lyrical tenor. In the late 1990s, despite having a huge success with a new version arranged by Paul Buckmaster of his old song ''Gəl Ey Səhər'' (''Come, Hey Morning!'') in Turkey and sold-out concerts in Russia, Bulbuloghlu started a political career.
