Adang Daradjatun
Adang Daradjatun (born 13 May 1949) is an Indonesian politician and former police general who currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives, representing Jakarta's 3rd district since 2009. Daradjatun originated from Bogor, and was educated in Jakarta and Bandung before he entered the police academy. Prior to his entrance to politics, Daradjatun served for 35 years in the Indonesian National Police, peaking as its deputy chief before he resigned in 2006 to run in Jakarta's gubernatorial election in 2007. After losing, Daradjatun was elected into the People's Representative Council in 2009 and was reelected in 2014, 2019 and 2024. Adang Sudrajat (23 October 19624 July 2021) was an Indonesian medical doctor and elected official for the Prosperous Justice Party in the People's Representative Council (DPR-RI) and Bandung city council. His second term in the DPR-RI ended abruptly due to his death from COVID-19 in July 2021. Early life and education Adang was born in Ciamis, a regency in the West Java province, on 23 October 1962. He attended the No. 5 Janggala Elementary School from 1969 until 1975. He moved to Tasikmalaya shortly after and entered the No. 1 Tasikmalaya Junior High School on the same year. He graduated from the junior high school in 1978 and returned to Ciamis afterwards. Adang Language
Adang is a Papuan language of the Timor–Alor–Pantar language family spoken on the island of Alor in Indonesia. The language is agglutinative. The Hamap dialect is sometimes treated as a separate language; on the other hand, Kabola, which is sociolinguistically distinct, is sometimes included. Ko Adang
Ko Adang (, ) is the second biggest island within Tarutao National Marine Park, in Thailand, very close to Ko Lipe island. The island is 6 km long and 5 km wide. The highest point on the island is 690 m. Overview Adang is surrounded by only few sandy beaches, but the offshore coral reef is abundant. The hilly interior is covered in dense jungle. There are two waterfalls on Ko Adang. Tourism There are some mountain trails suitable for hiking through the jungle forest. View points along the way offer views over the nearby island of Ko Lipe and the sea panorama behind. The island is very quiet and undeveloped, thanks to being part of Tarutao National Park.
