Adam Schoenfeld
Adam Schoenfeld is an American professional poker player and former columnist for ''Card Player'' magazine. Schoenfeld decided to quit his job as the vice president of an Internet analysis firm, Jupiter Communications, in order to play poker full-time. In the 2004 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Schoenfeld played in ten events but did not make any money. That same year, he made the top 15 in World Poker Tour events three times, making one final table. Though featured on ESPN's coverage of the 2006 WSOP Main Event, he did not cash. For the 2007 WSOP, Schoenfeld again played in select tournaments, but once again failed to cash. He co-hosted a series of shows entitled ''The Scoop'' for ''Card Player''s online television network during the 2007 events. As of 2010, his total live tournament winnings exceed $430,000. All events were held at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, by Harrah's Entertainment, which has run the annual event since its purchase from the Binion family in 2004. For the first time players began each event with double the amount of chips as the buy-in. This means that players in the Main Event started with 20,000 chips. The Hendon Mob are a group of four professional poker players from London, England: Joe Beevers, Barny Boatman, Ross Boatman, and Ram Vaswani. The name of the group was first publicised by the ''Evening Standard'' newspaper in September 2000. Joe Beevers is the only member of the group who actually comes from Hendon, but the others played in Hendon. Evelyn Ng (born September 14, 1975 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian professional poker player. She lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Early life Ng began her gaming career playing pool for money at age 14. By age 17, she had expanded into dealing blackjack and poker games in her hometown of Toronto.
