Glenville Adam James Le Fondre (born 2 December 1986) is an English professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), striker for Northern Premier League club F.C. United of Manchester, FC United of Manchester. He previously played for his hometown club Stockport County F.C., Stockport County as well as Rochdale A.F.C., Rochdale, Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United, and Reading F.C., Reading. He is also known by the nicknames ALF or, subsequently, Alfie, derived from his initials. As of 2021, Le Fondre owns the fourth-best career minutes-per-goal ratio in Premier League history, at 124.4. Stockport is a town in Greater Manchester, England, south-east of Manchester, south-west of Ashton-under-Lyne and north of Macclesfield. Ian William Sharps (born 23 October 1980) is an English former footballer who is currently Lead Academy Coach at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. During his playing career he was a defender most commonly deployed at centre back. Career Born in Warrington, Sharps is a tall central defender who signed for Tranmere Rovers after serving as a trainee and soon established himself as a first team regular making almost 200 appearances. Sharps joined Rotherham United on a two-year deal during the summer of 2006. Following the 2007–08 season, he signed a new two-year contract with Rotherham. Don Valley Stadium
Don Valley Stadium, England, was a stadium in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, completed in 1990, and hosted the 1991 World Student Games. It was named after the nearby River Don. The stadium was demolished in 2013. The stadium and facilities were also used for a variety of other events and sports. It served as a training base for the City of Sheffield Athletic Club and was the home of the Sheffield Half Marathon. It was the home ground of the Sheffield Eagles from 1991 to 2013. Rotherham United F.C. played their home matches at Don Valley between 2008 and 2012 when they were without a ground in Rotherham.
