Adam Hines
Adam Hines is an American graphic novelist and a writer, designer, and director of video games. He is the creative director of Night School Studio, which he co-founded, and the author of ''Duncan the Wonder Dog, Duncan the Wonder Dog: Show One''. Career Hines is known for the graphic novel ''Duncan the Wonder Dog'' (2010), which won a Xeric Grant, the 2011 Lynd Ward Graphic Novel Prize, and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Graphic Novel/Comics, ''Los Angeles Times'' Book Prize for Graphic Novel/Comics, and which came in first for the 2010 ComicsAlliance list of the year's best comics. The book was planned to be the first of a nine-book series. Hines worked at Telltale Games, where he was one of the writers for ''The Wolf Among Us'' and ''Tales from the Borderlands''. In 2014, Hines and cousin Sean Krankel founded video game development company Night School Studio. Night School Studio
Night School Studio, LLC is an American video game developer and Video game publisher, publisher. It was founded on June 6, 2014 by Sean Krankel and Adam Hines, and it is based in Glendale, California. After the founding of the company, the team started development on their debut, ''Oxenfree''. After setting up a casting call on Backstage (magazine), Backstage, the team moved to the development of the game. The first footage of the game was released on May 18, 2015, and the release was set for January 2016. Soon after, the game received positive reviews and a film adaptation is in plans with Skybound Entertainment. The Game Awards 2016 was an award show that honored the best video games of 2016. It was produced and hosted by Geoff Keighley at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 1, 2016, and was live streamed across several platforms.
