Adam Hastings
Adam Hastings (born 5 October 1996) is a Scottish international rugby union player who plays as a fly-half for Glasgow Warriors and the Scotland national team. He previously played for Gloucester and Bath. Amateur career Hastings played rugby at school for George Watson's College in Edinburgh and with Millfield School in Somerset, England. He won two Scottish Schools Cup titles with George Watson's College. Hastings was drafted to Currie in the Scottish Premiership for the 2017–18 season. Hastings was drafted to Stirling County in the Scottish Premiership for the 2018–19 season. Scotland National Rugby Union Team
The Scotland national rugby union team represents the Scottish Rugby Union in men's international rugby union. The team takes part in the annual Six Nations Championship, where they are the current Doddie Weir Cup holders. They also participate in the Rugby World Cup, which takes place every four years. The history of the team dates from 1871, when the Scottish rugby team played their first official test match, winning 1–0 against England at Raeburn Place. Scotland competed in the Five Nations from the inaugural tournament in 1883, winning it 14 times outright—including the last Five Nations in 1999—and sharing it another eight. Stirling County RFC is a Scottish rugby union club based in Stirling. The club plays its home games at Bridgehaugh. It runs a number of sides. The men's side competes in the Scottish National Division 1, the women's side competes in the . Gregor Townsend
Gregor Peter John Townsend (born 26 April 1973) is a Scottish professional rugby union coach and former player who has been coaching the Scotland national team since 2017. Townsend was previously the assistant coach from 2009 to 2012. As a player, he won 82 caps for Scotland and two for the British and Irish Lions. He is a former coach of Glasgow Warriors and was a player-coach for Border Reivers. As well as in Scotland, he played club rugby in Australia, England, France and South Africa. As coach of Scotland, his team won at Twickenham for the first time in 38 years in 2021. Townsend was selected as attack coach for the 2021 British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa. The 2019 Rugby World Cup () was the ninth edition of the Rugby World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's rugby union teams. The Russia national rugby union team, nicknamed Medvedi (''The Bears''), is administered by the Rugby Union of Russia (RUR). Scotland National Under-19 Rugby Union Team
The Scotland national under-19 rugby union team is one of several junior national rugby union teams behind the Scottish national side. Starting in 2008, the International Rugby Board scrapped its under-21 and under-19 world championships in favour of a single under-20 competition, the IRB Junior World Championship. Scotland accordingly replaced its under-21 and under-19 sides with a new under-20 side. The Under 19s regularly played until 2010 before being scrapped. The age grade is still very occasionally used by Scotland. In July 2014, the Under 18 boss Eddie Pollock named an Under 19 squad for a double header in August 2014 against Romanian age grades.
