Adam Gregory (singer-songwriter)
Adam Gregory (born July 12, 1985) is a Canadian country music singer-songwriter and actor. Active since 2000, he has recorded four studio albums to date, including '' The Way I'm Made'' (2000) and ''Workin' on It'' (2002), both on Epic Records, and a self-titled album in 2006 on Mensa Records. He has charted several singles on the Canadian country music charts, including two singles which were also Top 40 hits on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart in the United States. In 2010, Gregory starred in ''WWJD'', a film-based on '' In His Steps'' by Charles Sheldon. The Big Valley Jamboree, commonly referred to as "BVJ", is an annual country music festival held in Camrose, Alberta, Canada. Established in 1992, the Jamboree is held during the Civic Holiday in August and features country singers from North America. The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) was founded in 1976 as the Academy of Country Music Entertainment to organize, promote and develop a Canadian country music industry. ''Telemiracle'' is an annual telethon organized by the Kinsmen and Kinettes in Saskatchewan, Canada, for the benefit of the Kinsmen Foundation. Initially broadcast on both CTV and CBC affiliates in Saskatchewan, it is now broadcast, commercial-free, exclusively on the province's CTV affiliates– CKCK in Regina, CFQC in Saskatoon, CIPA in Prince Albert and CICC in Yorkton. Wide Mouth Mason
Wide Mouth Mason is a Canadian blues-based rock band, consisting of Shaun Verreault (lead vocals, guitar) and Safwan Javed (percussion, backing vocals). Former bassist Earl Pereira was also co-founder of Wide Mouth Mason. The band hails from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and has been active since 1995. Career Wide Mouth Mason took its name from the jar of the same name, and independently released its first album, ''The Nazarene'' in 1996. Although only 2,500 copies were pressed, it still drew interest from the major labels. The band would re-record much of ''The Nazarene'' at Greenhouse Studios.
