Adam Cooper (Blue Heelers)
Adam Bryce Cooper was a fictional character in the Australian police drama series ''Blue Heelers''. He joined the cast in late 1994 while the programme was still in its first season. He was transferred to Mount Thomas as his first station straight from the police academy at age 19 and took Roz Patterson’s place when she was dismissed from her employment as the station’s administration officer for accessing confidential police records. Adam was a bright spark of an officer with plenty of potential and plenty of questions. He was very young for a police officer and could appear slightly immature at times though he had a good heart and love for his job. He is the ninth longest running character behind Tom Croydon, Chris Riley, P.J. Hasham, Maggie Doyle, Ben Stewart, Nick Schultz, Jo Parrish and Evan Jones. Adam Cooper (born 22 July 1971) is an English actor, choreographer, dancer and theatre director. He works as both a performer and choreographer in musical theatre, and has choreographed and/or starred in award-winning shows such as ''On Your Toes'', ''Singin' in the Rain'' and '' Grand Hotel''. He began his professional career as a dancer of classical ballet and contemporary ballet and is a former Principal of the Royal Ballet, a major international ballet company based in London. He became internationally recognized for creating the lead role of Swan/Stranger in Matthew Bourne's contemporary dance production of the ballet ''Swan Lake'', a role that was briefly featured in the 2000 film ''Billy Elliot'' where Cooper played the adult version of the titular character. Adam Michael Cooper (born August 9, 1977) is an American former (five game) amateur Association football, soccer player and the current head coach of the Saint Mary's Gaels men's soccer program. Playing career Cooper was a three year player for the UCLA Bruins men's soccer program, playing just 33 games over a four-year period. During his sophomore and senior seasons, Cooper earned Academic All-Conference honors. Upon graduating UCLA, Cooper entered the 2000 United States soccer league system, A-League draft, where he was selected 7th overall by the now-defunct Orange County Blue Star, Orange County Waves. Cooper played :Orange County Blue Star players, five games with the Waves before retiring from the game as a player. Coaching career In 1999, Cooper began his career by coaching the Calabasas High School boys' soccer team.
