Adalet Ağaoğlu
Adalet Ağaoğlu (née Sümer; 23 October 1929 – 14 July 2020) was a Turkish novelist and playwright, considered one of the foremost novelists of 20th-century Turkish literature. She also wrote essays, memoirs, and short stories. Life She was born on 23 October 1929 in Nallıhan. Her father is Hafız Mustafa Sümer, a fabric merchant. She is the second child and only daughter of a family of four children. Her siblings are Cazip Sümer (1925-1975), playwright, actor Güner Sümer (1936-1977) and businessman Ayhan Sümer (1930-2020). After completing her primary education in Nallıhan, she moved to Ankara with her family in 1938. After completing her secondary education at Ankara Girls' High School, she graduated from the French Language and Literature Department of the Faculty of Language, History and Geography of Ankara University in 1950. Adalet Cimcoz (25 July 191013 March 1970) was a Turkish voice actress, art curator, critic, translator and gossip columnist. She dubbed many film stars over a period of more than thirty years. She also opened and curated Turkey's first and only woman-owned private art gallery for exhibitions of painting, sculpture, mosaic, ceramics, photography, patterns, and folk art. She critiqued literature, art, and theatre for twenty years. She translated a number of classical works of European literature from German to Turkish. Ədalət Şükürov (full name Ədalət Zakir oğlu Şükürov), also known as simply Ədalət (born 22 April 1966), is an Azerbaijani pop singer and celebrity in Azerbaijan. Biography Ədalət Şükürov was born on 22 April 1966 in the city of Sumgait north of Baku, Azerbaijan. After he finished school, he was drafted into Soviet Army and served three years in submarine near the Novaya Zemlya islands in Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia. The Justice Party (, AP) was a Turkish political party prominent in the 1960s and 1970s. A descendant of the Democrat Party, the AP was dominated by Süleyman Demirel, who served six times as prime minister, and was in office at the time of the military coup on 12 September 1980.
