Ad Dakhiliyah () is one of the eleven Governorates of Oman, governorates (''muhafazah'') of Oman with Nizwa town as the regional center. It was previously a region (''mintaqah''). It became a governorate on 28 October 2011. Oman is divided into eleven governorates ('' muhafazah'') as of 28 October 2011. Each of the 11 governorates are divided into '' wilayat'' ( provinces). Regions and governorates before 2011 Before 28 October 2011, Oman was divided into five regions ('' mintaqah'') and four governorates ('' muhafazah''). The governorates were Muscat, Dhofar, Buraimi and Musandam. Buraimi Governorate was created in October 2006 from parts of Ad Dhahirah Region. The regions are further subdivided into 61 wilayat. Manah, Oman
Manah () is a town in the region of Ad Dakhiliyah, in northeastern Oman. As of 2010 it had a population of 7,749. Manah is one of the wilayats (provinces) in the Interior Governorate of Oman, located approximately 160km away from the capital, Muscat. According to the 2010 census, its population was around 7,749. It is bordered by Adam to the south, Izki to the east and north, and Nizwa to the west. The wilayat includes several historical forts, the most important of which are Al-Fiqain Fort, Al-Bilad Fort, and another fort in the town of Ma'mad. It also has many archaeological sites, such as the ancient fortress in Al-Ma'di town and the old mosque, which dates back to the time of Imam Omar bin Al-Khattab Al-Khuraisi. Ash-Sharqiyyah Region () was the eastern ''mintaqah, minṭaqah'' (Administrative divisions of Oman, region) of the Sultanate of Oman. The capital of Ash-Sharqiyyah is Sur, Oman, Sur. Omanis () are the nationals of Sultanate of Oman, located in the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Omanis have inhabited the territory that is now Oman. The Jebel Akhdar Mountains () is a mountain range approximately long and wide, that is part of the Hajar Mountains in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. Izki
Izki () is a town in the Ad Dakhiliyah region of northeastern Oman. It is located at c. altitude, and has a population of 35,173 (2003 census).
