Acucrack
DJ? Acucrack is an electronic music duo based in Chicago, Illinois. DJ? Acucrack was formed by Jason Novak and Jamie Duffy as an Acumen Nation drum n' bass side project. The duo initially created the side project to "kill time" between releases for Acumen Nation, but their releases as Acucrack were so well received that the side project ended up taking precedence. Their first two releases — ''Nation State'' and '' Mutants of Sound'' — appeared on the CMJ RPM year end charts for 1998. Their 2000 album, ''Sorted'', peaked at #2 on the CMJ RPM Charts in the U.S. In 2004, DJ? Acucrack opened for KMFDM on their 20th Anniversary Tour. In August 2005, DJ? Acucrack released a new album, ''Killing Mobius''. In 2006, they toured with Front Line Assembly for their Artificial Soldier tour, which was cut short. Issues with the tour bus company have been cited for the cancellation. Founding member Jamie Duffy died on June 21, 2012. Discography * ''Nation State EP'' (1997) * '' Mutants ...

Mutants Of Sound
''Mutants of Sound'' is the first album by DJ? Acucrack, released in 1998. The album appeared on the CMJ RPM year-end charts for 1998. Critical reception ''The Plain Dealer'' thought that "though tracks like 'Lust in Space', 'Bitch Universal' and the fidgety 'Get in Me' are so airy in parts that they seem free of gravity, they've also got a vigor that gives away the duo's industrial roots." AllMusic AllMusic (previously known as All-Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Acumen Nation
Acumen Nation is an American industrial rock band from Chicago, Illinois. History Early career Formed in 1988 as Acumen by Jason Novak and Ethan Novak, the band released several cassette demos before self-releasing the CD demo ''Transmissions from Eville'' in 1994. Along with bassist Greg Lopez, they put the record out themselves under the name Robot Records. During shows for this period, the band added Jamie Duffy as a guitarist/engineer, and shortly afterwards the four-piece band was noticed by independent industrial label Fifth Colvmn Records, who signed the band and reissued ''Transmissions from Eville'' worldwide. The band subsequently embarked on national tours with The Clay People and 16 Volt, before heading back to Chicago Trax Studios to record their follow-up, entitled '' Territory=Universe'', with a denser multi-layered sound than the previous record. Acumen was invited to join another national tour with industrial rock pioneers Chemlab, as well as shorter stints supp ...

Oxidizer (album)
''Oxidizer'' is the third and final studio album by Chemlab, released on January 27, 2004, by Underground Inc. Alternate versions and controversy Jason Novak, credited as DJ? Acucrack and a member of Acumen Nation, was responsible for the original production of Oxidizer, but according to Novak, his finished tracks were "remixed" by other producers at Louche's behest, changing the album significantly in terms of the album's sound, 'sutures' and track order by the time of its official release. Novak notes that the original version of the album "reflected the proper spirit of Chemlab", and that he did not receive proper credit on the official release, despite being responsible for the majority of the music. Reception AllMusic awarded the ''Oxidizer'' album three out of five possible stars. Matthew Moyer of Ink 19 praised the atmosphere and programming of the music. Track listing Personnel Adapted from the ''Oxidizer'' liner notes. Chemlab * F.J. DeSanto – loops, nois ...

Pigface
Pigface is an American industrial rock supergroup formed in 1990 by Martin Atkins and William Rieflin. History Pigface was formed from Ministry's ''The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste'' tour, which produced the '' In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up'' live album and video. For the tour, Al Jourgensen brought Atkins, Nivek Ogre and Chris Connelly. Also on the tour was Rieflin, regular Ministry drummer at the time. While Atkins enjoyed the dynamic of playing with a second drummer, he felt that the lineup was capable of doing much more than being, what he has frequently called, "a Ministry cover band." Once the tour was over, Atkins and Rieflin decided to continue working together and recruited several of their tourmates. Pigface was born with the intention of keeping a revolving-door style collaboration with many experimentally-minded musicians, many of whom, especially early on, had recorded for the influential industrial music record label Wax Trax!.
